Just hope he doesn't have his bags checked on the way back. i have a simmons 3.5x12x44 on my 22.250 and i never had a problem with it great scope never loses its zero i just bought a meopta 7x50 but aint bothered to change it as the simmons dont miss i would deffo recomend simmons Quote Link to post

It looksl like thats what I will go with since nothing can beat it for that price. simmons have been about for years and is a much better scope than tasco , hawke etc i ad simmons on .22 for years then when i bought 22.250 i said i would give it a go and never had a problem if you go for a simmons i dont think you will be disapointed Quote Link to post

jamie g 17 Posted July 29, 2008 Report Share Posted July 29, 2008 i would have had the 6.5x20x50 if it was me. yes most the time you will keep it on 8 mag. but if your doing some longer range shooting or target shooting its nice to have the extra mag to see the groups. iwhich will save walking back and to the target. if you have a spoting scope then thats fine. but its best to have to much mag then wishing you ghad more mag Quote Link to post
