Like anything the preparation is the key to the end result if you use any old paint on a floor it will debond and peel off , if it is newly poured concrete do not paint till it has fully cured, soak it with clean fresh water a couple of times a day for at least 48 hours, this will cure it , next if you still want to paint it and you can get a power washer, power wash the concrete, let dry , the choice of floor paint is vast , ask you local building supply for a primer suterble for concrete and one that is compatible with the floor paint if done properly it will last for a long time no matter how much piss goes on it, if you do the prep and get the write coating that is , sealers are the same be careful which one you apply do not apply a brick sealer as most of them go slippy when wet , go for a concrete sealer again ask your bulders yard, same prep as for the paint , as in every thing you only get what you pay for, if you concrete is sound and has a good finish just leave it and get a good disinfectant , jays fluid or blacks,
