rizzini 1
Anti white hate crime is on the rise in the USA http://www.kkk.bz/channonchristiancampaign.htm(a bit graphic)With things like that going on. Why on earth would you want some black in power! FFS, what are you like getting your 'facts' and statistics from a bunch of sheet wearing, rednecks! These people are seriously weird and have some disturbing customs and bizarre religous beliefs! I would rather have a black person in power than some bitter, warped, ignorant uber-christians...they are well scarey! I dont agree with them, I was just looking for stuff on obamma and came across it. I put tit foward as white power propaganda.
BlueCoyote 0
as far as bush goes, i dont know what my opinion is. seems like he's done some good and some bad..... his brother could take a flying leap off a cliff - FL's previous Governor- hated that guy.... BUT i did like that he hurt the people free loading off the tax payers (i.e. people not working because they were too lazy, people having litters of babies just to get the money for it, etc and so on) as for his brother... er.... a subject i hate because i have no opinion and thats only because at that time in my life i honestly had bigger things to worry about than the president and politics. he was better than Kerry i suppose. The thing i'm noticing is people were saying Kerry had terrorist ties- so did his wife apparently- ... now people are saying Obama has MAJOR terrorist ties... and Maccain is threatening war for sure with Iran.... i'm a little surprised Hilary got booted out.. especially over someone with a name like Hussein Obama! Bush, and .. what was his name.. Al Gore? all that crap happened before i was old enough to vote. the election happened just DAYS before my birthday... And when Bush vs. Kerry happened i dont even remember if i voted. (long story, life was hell so it didnt matter) And where the good ol' boy red necks are concerned.... thats a joke. my mom seems to think if Obama was assassinated there would be a race war, but i'm not so sure. a lot of black people dont like the man. I think it would depend on how he was doing in office when/of he's shot at or killed. if he was a dick... then people would probably say he deserved it lol As i said before though... our government is set up so that we cant have a psycho dictator.. for long. if he starts pulling some sort of weirdness we can kick his ass out. and if you'll look throughout our presidential history... we've had some f*cking characters!! and we've learned with each of them..... Andrew Jackson is probably my favourite out of the psychos... all the stuff he did was just...... so screwed up... any person with even a slight amount of morals should have stopped him (like the way he dealt with Native Americans) But going back to pre-civil war elections (with the war on the horizon) the south threatened to revolt if Lincoln was elected. the president in office at the time locked himself in and refused to come out or do anything until his time as Pres. was up. then i think he fled in the night.... have to reread that part again in history. it was certainly interesting! and this election is going to be interesting. i keep repeating to myself that .... four to eight years.. and he's gone. if he's a psycho then he'll be dealt with. same goes for McCain.... the last two presidents were reelected and i'm not sure why except our people are just afraid of change. we're too comfortable and want to leave things as they are. you know the sayin "The devil you know is better than the devil you dont know"? Most Americans dont seem to want to be bothered with politics or world politics or any of that. everyone keeps their opinions to themselves (unless they are on the internet lol) because they dont want to offend the guy standing next to them with their opinions.. funny thing happened once a few years ago - shortly after Bush was reelected - my husband and i were at a video rental store... i was talking to the guy behind the counter. he was weird but fun to talk to - he was telling us how he was feeding wild raccoons when he was attacked by one and he had to undergo rabies treatment because he refused to let them trap and kill the raccoon for testing... then suddenly he switched gears on subjects. one minute we're talking about wild life and then we're talking about the government funding the military when they should be funding free health care... then he started saying the 9/11 thing was all a conspiracy and diversion.. just so Bush could start a fight his dad couldnt finish. this guy was getting loud. i was wondering if maybe those rabies vaccinations didnt work! shepp 2,285
I like him, he is articulate, intelligent, has traveled and shows humility. If he is left wing in america then he is still pretty much conservative here due to america naturally being further right than us. He is as white as he is black, was brought up in a white family, and has a darker one of his own. He deserves a chance and i see no one else who i thought that about. mad al 146
Well, he beats Bush on the intelligence scale-not difficult is it??Likes Brits-He says so.... He's still keen to improve America's and GB's special relationship.. And doesn't think America should fight in Afganistan alone.??? Only because we've got the best military in the world.... Still open minded, He's young enough, He has never acted, haven't seen any Skeletons in the closet, Father wasn't a president. So...up for discussion?? Articulate or slimy? Matt just another arrogant, lying slime ball who's only difference to the rest of the pond life who "ruled the world" before him is his colour

bill88 6
Good luck to him.Wasn't the world a safer quieter place last time the Democrats were in power? Glad to see the back of that right wing, racist, warmongering, red neck, piece of sh*t Bush.Id like to see him his father used as shield's in Iraq and Afghanistan.Sickens me to see our boys getting killed fighting an Oil war started by that c*nt Bush. People could plan 9/11's in peace In fairness to Bush, and I'm most definately not a fan of his, not many presidents have had the things happen during his term of office as has happened in the last eight years. 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, World credit crisis. Tough crowd

It's how they react. and I must say he reacted pretty damn bad to everything. one question "Why did they invade Iraq"
mattydski 560
Interesting you should mention Bush and the credit crisis. An inteligent freind of mine thinks Bush and the rest of the west, have artificially created the credit crisis to put a hold on China's rapid development speed. By keeping funds tight, people will buy less and effect China's exports.etc An example was quoted (no citation) that Mersk usualy chater 4-600 boats a month, and they chartered 2 last month...Thus showing the scale of the problem. He thinks The west have identified China as their biggest threat and are dealing with it... Interest conspiracy theory..
Guest JohnGalway
Would you not reckon that bush caused the world credit crisis. It's not really what happens when someone is in office. It's how they react. and I must say he reacted pretty damn bad to everything. one question "Why did they invade Iraq" I can't say. I know in Ireland our problems were caused by bank lending irresponsibly and equally people who couldn't afford what they were borrowing signing on the dotted line. I agree he reacted badly to a lot of things. My point was that not many presidents had as much crap to deal with while in office, and to be balanced looking back at it not everything was his fault. I do hold a certain amount of sympathy for him in that regard. If they had said, we're going into Iraq to get rid of Saddam, the world would have gone great, about time too, lets all have at him. They didn't, it was idiocy at it's finest hour "inventing" stories. Again, I'll repeat, I'm no Bush fan. I was always for McCain, going back to 1999 when Bush people put out a false questionaire in North Carolina asking residents "How would you feel if Senator McCain fathered two black children out of wedlock?" yes. As I've said elsewhere, Bush poisioned the campaign of a good man - twice. But that's getting away from the topic. I don't like Obama, I think he's smoke and mirrors. But, he's in now, I won't cut off my nose to spite my face. It's in my interest he does well in whaetver effort is undertaken to right the world financial crisis. That, however, doesn't mean I have to like him or bow down thinking he's the second coming
