DRP 3
Hello All, I'm new to the forum. I own guardian breeds, all of which are fed a natural diet. Mostly provided by myself, but my rotti bitch has in the past caught pigeon, squirrel, rabbit and numerous rodents. I now want to introduce rabbit(hare if available), basically lagomorph to their diet on a regular basis. More regular than my rott can/will provide, as the rabbit she caught had myxomatosis lol. So unless there's a sudden permanent out break I'm gonna have to find other means of sourcing regular rabbit. This is where you guys come in! I'm interested in getting a canine for the job, but thats all I know. I would appreciate the knowledge of people who know what breed/s or crosses are the most efficient at this job only. I'm not interested in anything else other than lagomorphs. I do like the look of the bull lurchers, but I don't know if adding bull to the mix is going to hinder the dogs capabilities, as I'm not going to use it for anything larger. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
