mattydski 560
As I said last week, it was my intention to build an all weather, escape proof, concrete bunkered play pen. (given that i've allready had one dig out of the old play pen this year) Not all the entertainment is live yet, but it is up and water tight. I was a bit restricted for space, and a bit restricted for cash. The total expenditure this week, was £23 on four bags of bark chippings, 1 pack of hinges and 1 turnbuckle. All the rest of the materials were reclaimed, begged, knicked or on stock(i have a large stock, i hoard everything). So to be honest, i'm pretty pleased with the results. the pictures dont do it justice. It was late.... So more pictures to follow. One thing I need is suggestions for play equipment, it must be makeable, not purchased. So far they have a swimming pool (Copied the idea from Stubby-They say it is the best form of flattery) Underground tube Above ground tube to nest box So come on. What would they'd like? mattydski 560
look top notch mate. how big is it? Not that big about 2.4m x 1.2m As you can see in the pics, i was a bit restricted with space. It has 2-300mm of bark in the bottom, so they dig as much as they like. They hit concrete pretty quick. The full ferret test will be carried ot tomorrow. Both my 2 year old hob and the new jill kits. They had 20 mins each tonight and loved it. Fill the swimming pool in the morning. I would still like suggestions for play equipment matt Quote Link to post

mattydski 560
First day in the pen today. They took it in shifts, as the Hob is still bullying the Kits. So no escapes, all had fun, I put some cardboard in later. They liked that as well. So sorry to bore you all, but here's more pics Nice day for a swim Matt Quote Link to post
