vlmh2 0
Hi, I am looking to get a puppy and have found a whippet x bedlington terrier, first cross. (Aparently the parents have papers. ) The mother is a mostly white whippet, the father is a sandy coloured bedlington. At the moment the puppy is black, wire-haired. What colour is it going to end up as?!!! Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks, Victoria Quote Link to post

codmaster127 64
most of the first cross beddy/whippets are a broken coated blue/grey, Quote Link to post
vlmh2 0
Thanks for your replies. She is 9 weeks already. It seems strange that she is so dark when her parents are so light. (Although my mother has a Bearded Collie which was black as a pup and is now very pale grey). Is there any way or predicting the colour a Bedlington X Whippet will turn out as? (The pup's father is sandy ) Quote Link to post
bill88 6
As already said mate, most first cross BeddyxWhippets are blue/grey and rough or broken coated. Some are sandy/fawn coloured.Id hazard a guess that if the pup is dark at 9 weeks it will be more than likely blue/grey. Quote Link to post
