scopes

Recommended Posts

hi andy......personally i would say they are overkill for an air rifle.

i would say go for a 3-9 x 50 (or there abouts).......for around £100 you will get a decent all round scope.

simmons

hawke

richter optik

tasco

all worth looking at.

cheers

hahahahaha!!! True True!!! :clapper:

On a serious note andy I had a 6-24 JSR scope that was amazing for target shooting but I found for hunting the weight and all that zoom was not that practicle!! I now have a 3-9x40 £38 scope and its nice and light and proves awsome out in the feild!!!

well said

you are only shooting out to 30/35 yds.............so any magnification over 9 would make holding your crosshairs (where you need to) more difficult due to the exageration in veiw.

all the best

The Hawke/Deben range of scopes are good all rounders & offer something for everyone on a different budget :victory: I bought a 3-9x50 Pro Stalker when i got back into the airguns & it was a very good scope day & night but now have a Nikon Monarch which i would'nt change :gunsmilie:

read yesteay martin 1 was selling a nice simmons 3-9x50 whitetail super night view, good scope plus afew others with side wheels on check em out in for sale section :gunsmilie:

I have the Simmons WTC 3.5-10x50 on my HW100 all I can say is it's a no frills no nonsense scope and the optics are 100% can see clearly at 10 yards as I can at 40.....perfect. I've had cheap/expensive scopes in the past and all I can say is these are "middle of the road" and do the hunting job perfectly.

Cheers

Coney.
