Ive downloaded a sgc but at the top left of the firts page it has

 

Firearms Acts 1968 to 1997

 

writen is this something to worry about??

No I dont think so. Just download another one from a police website.

So i just download it and fill it in and send it to the local police

Its fine, it is just a reference to what Acts the document relates. It is on all application forms.

 

And yes, fill it in and follow the guidelines on the form, make sure it is accompanied by four photographs and a check for £50.

 

Post it to the address I gave you in my post in your other topic.

I dont have a check book would it be ok if i gave my mum the money and she pays for it in her name ??

Yep, send them a cheque in her name and attach a note saying what you have done.

Depends on your local licensing dept mate

 

I had an interview within 2 weeks of send my application away and had my cert the week after so 3 weeks for me which

was very quick

 

Give your local dept a phone and ask them how long it usually takes but get it filled in and get it away
