Converting Sheds?

I dont know linning the shed with ply wood might retain the heat ,might be okay if you vent it and allow the air to flow through .

i would line the inside of the shed with proberly pyl wood? so they cant climb up the side or run out when i open the door so i think it would be ok, what do yous reckon?

That's the shed which mine are kept in.

 

Half way down I've partitioned the shed with some hardboard, about waist height. Lots of room for them to run around in and they've never escaped. Worked for me. If you want pictures of how I did it, give me a PM and I'll take some.

by the time you buy ply to line the shed you'd be cheaper building it your self....best option and cheapest is a ferret court good frame with quality mesh some slabbs and enough wood to make a good sleeping quarter....could prob do it all for under a £100

IMHO where sheds are concerned you get what you pay for.

Cheap = shite.

I'd forget feather edged overlap and go for a decent shiplap shed. It'll be thicker planking, more weatherproof and last much longer.

 

Mine are going outside before winter, so this is a good thread for me.

Here's mine, I have vents along the bottom on front and high at the back to help with air flow. I use old cooker shelves at the door to stop them pouring out when the door is open

I actually got mine from tesco online, and it is good quality.

 

I echo what driod said though, spend a little more and get shiplap.
