Very Early Ferret Locating System

My good friend Bob Merrin called for an overnight stay last night on his way down to the CLA Gamefair. He had with him a very early type of recieving box.......from the early 70's he believes.......made by Oitron......and was also a radio as well...........so music while you locate. It had an 8ft depth......but no dial to give you an accurate reading. Just thought it might be interesting to see the device in all its glory.

Dont scoff Kay used a line hob for years wish I could find the bloody thing now [the line I mean]

Used to work 2 - 4 jills lose throughout the 'season' never had to dig much at all.

Sometimes wonder if people are to keen with the spade now 'cos they can 'locate' quick!
