THE VET CAN DOCK ANY TERRIER BREED IN ENGLAND AS LONG AS YOU HAVE EITHER WRITEN PERMISSION OF A LAND OWNER FOR PEST CONTROL OR YOU GET A SIGHND LETTER FROM A GAMEKEEPER OR PEST CONTROLER OR YOU HAVE A SHOTGUN CERT, OR YOU A MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL TERRIER FED , AM NOT SURE IF THE FELL AND MOORLAND COUNTS, BUT YOU NEED A VET TO CARRY IT OUT THERE ARE LOADS OVER ENGLAND, THE CHIPPING HAS TO BE DONE AT A LATTER DATE , GET THEM DOCKED ITS LIKE THE HUNTING BAN FOOK THEM , TERRIERS WIYH TAILS KNOW WAY, THERES MUGGERS MURDERS, RAPISTS, PEDOS, AND TERRORISTS OUT THERE AND THERE CHASEING PEOPLE FOR TAIL DOCKING, BOLLICKS TO BROWN

Having just had my first litter docked at the vet since the ban, I can only tell you what my vet has told me: they dock, you sign the certificate which the vet KEEPS until you take the pups back at 6-7 weeks for chipping. Only then will the vet release the certificate to you, which you give to the buyer when they take the pup. More of a scam and money for the vets IMO, as I could normally get mine chipped for free: but not with these. I suppose if you weren't worried about having legal proof of legal docking and had no intention of getting them chipped you could do that, but in that case you might as well do them yourself: the result would be the same: no certificate to say it had been done at a vet's.
