Working Terrier Books

Recommended Posts

I would be interested to know if Sean Frains books are vanity or self-published?Or does he actually have a publishing agent who looks at the manuscripts and deems them markeatable? My kid could honestly write better and with more style and content :victory:

try the new "looking down the big dark hole" by Cammoman

a few lads on here have contributed to it....

bantam cocks.......digging in ladahosens

tarmacs.... midget shovels and ugly northeners

wilfreds..... digging in the wet patch

fellponies..... living for crags' and crevacis

should be worth a read if you can get your hands on it!!

failing that try some darcy books or the worold of the working terrier.

I think SF has published his own books too. MIndst you, i should imagine, there can be nothing worse than sitting on a huge pile of books that nobody wants.

Lots of lads are "going" to write a book, but they fail to realise how much is involverd. The amount of writing needed to fill pages is alot more than many may realise. I was sent a manuscript the other week with a view to puiblishing it. When typed up it only stretched to 28 pages. So back to the drawing board!! lol

A few years ago we all relied on the few fieldsports publications to advertise our books. I myself, was banned from advertising RDA, by one such magazine. It seems theres alot of bitchy little people about just trying to stab you in the back. lol.... makes me laugh now, but at the time i wasnt particularlly happy when i had a lot of books and struggled to get the mesage out "to the people" lol....its funny but i was banned beforte i had even decided what photos to include......lol..but its akl water under the bridge and now the internet has come along such displays of suppressing are thankfully a thing of the past.

Lots of books out there, but space for alot more.....particularlly good ones ...lol.... keep writing thats what i say to all authors......JD

Well,my nephew is equally as good at illustrating as Frain and he is 3,and my boys writing style is far superior and he is 11,so I guess they might just cobble something together this weekend :victory:
