Guest SHOT
i thought this lad deserved a shout he,d been a good freind to me since the 70,s when we were kids up untill not so long back when we had a fall out(my fault). he was a keen fishing lad,i had my first encounter lamping with him, bill mann, dean mitchell and jez cremoss back in 89/90 i think. i was invited out to do a bit of lamping i wasnt sure what to expect and new little about lamping,we all crammed in to jez old clapped out series 3 armed with air rifles lamps and a dog,we only took a small number of rabbits on the night,i remember the arguing on who shot what,i was holding the lamp and could clearly see jez pellet leave the barrel and hit the ground about 15 feet in front of us he was having none of it i hadnt laughed so much. bill mann put on a punch and judy show with the rabbits in the back of the land rover driving home . and around 3 am we were sat in deans house eating roast rabbit and spuds. it was a great night and went a fair way to getting me hooked on the hunting game later on. rip jason brant http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/disp...tentPK=21126150
