its spelt MONTHS

you can ferret anytime of the year, but ferreters generally do it in the winter months, as with no young rabbits about, your more likely to get rabbits leaving the warren on seeing a ferret, rather than in the summer, staying down, trying to protect the young, plus summertime, most things grow, so its harder to net up holes, may even miss a few, winter, most things die back, easier to net, winter, less chance of lay-ups/kills underground meaning less digging

as you both new members, asking the same questions, take a few hours to read back through the pages on the ferreting section, all of your questions have probably already been asked, and therefore, there will be answers there too, or do a "search" for a word/words, like first ferreting trip

Till you ready to go ferreting with them get them out as often as you can into the garden and run them threw bits of pipe pick them up and put them back down again ,Getting them used to you moving to pick them up and hearing you moving about is never time wasted ,And when you put them into a bury put them down with a older ferret but working should come natuarly to them
