stubby 175
on the suject of knowing nothing i have been trying to gather infomation and have been told there are monts that you shouldn't go out is this true or is it just better in some months than others and wich are better its spelt MONTHS you can ferret anytime of the year, but ferreters generally do it in the winter months, as with no young rabbits about, your more likely to get rabbits leaving the warren on seeing a ferret, rather than in the summer, staying down, trying to protect the young, plus summertime, most things grow, so its harder to net up holes, may even miss a few, winter, most things die back, easier to net, winter, less chance of lay-ups/kills underground meaning less digging as you both new members, asking the same questions, take a few hours to read back through the pages on the ferreting section, all of your questions have probably already been asked, and therefore, there will be answers there too, or do a "search" for a word/words, like first ferreting trip Quote Link to post
