Gundaog Man on the streets

A man with ten gun dogs is living on the streets after to local council told him he need planning to be a keeper/breeder of more then four dogs. He has been to court and appealed and lost.

 

This means that if you have five dogs you need planning past by the local council to be a keeper breeder of dogs.

 

This law was made to stop puppy farms and it is now being uses to stop shooting people keeping dogs.

 

If you have two or three dogs now and you have puppies four or six you now have more then four dogs and will need planning. If you are going to put a dog on your bitch you will have to apply for planning three months before the bitch meets the dog. And if it is a mistake, then you will have to have the puppies put down. Its good living under new labour.

 

The government said they would not stop shooting but they are finding other way to do it.

As a breeder i have looked into this.You can have as many dogs on your property as you like as long as you dont' breed them,you are looking after them and they are not causing a nuisance.You are also allowed to keep up to 4 breeding bitches and as many dogs as you like.The amount of puppies the 4 bitches have make no difference at all,so in all if you stick to 4 breeding bitches you will be fine.

I have heard of cases where people have been prosecuted for having more than 4 bitches and the courts do seem to frown upon it for some reason even though they have no quarms letting more serious crimes go mostly unpunished..Hope this helps...

And one more note if you do register the tax man is going to find out!
