I always give mine redbull and a line or two of coke to perk them up :wallbash:

yea i take a special straw out with me for mine been on it 6 month now lol

Its costing me a fortune, but the results speak for themselves. I give 'em a bong to share when we get back, just to chill em out.

wouldnt bother with lucozade tablets , keep them for yourself and get the dogs some electrolytes.

talking of lucozade , we had a dog fit in the back of the car on the way home after a hard night lamping.not having anything to give to the dog we stopped at the nearest garage , bought some lucozade and give the dog half a bottle.

brought him round fast!

well to be honest mate if you were having a big night of running the dog

it wouldnt hurt to have a ten minute break have a pot off tea enjoy the night,

and both have a break .rather than letting a dog get that worn out in the first place.

i run my dog year round, and not once has he been under that much stress, he has

needed any pick me ups, to get him right nothing a break and a slurp off water or tea

and a little sit down dosnt sort :victory:

chocolate is toxic to dogs!

Tis true that chocolate is toxic for dogs: I've seen it myself, working at the vets'. But some dogs react differently than others, and a bit here or there isn't going to hurt most of them. Mine snarfed a twix she found in the park the other day - just tossed it down her neck :icon_eek: - with no ill effect bar some smelly trumps later on  It's when it's given in excess that it can cause problems.

If my dog was low on energy after a hard day out I'd drop it a bite of choccy too ... I've almost always got some lurking in my bag when I'm out mooching. That, and a can of Red Bull which I will let them sip a bit of as well if they're desparate. But the truth is the choccy and Red Bull is for me and I'm reluctant to share much of it  I usually take along a bit of something just for them, ginger biscuit or some such.
