little lurchers

ive had big saluki crosses most of my life and now because of the ban i bought a whippet,greyhound.she is electric .she is just turned 13 month and there is not many rabbits get away.ive had her out with a few bigger dogs and over a hundred yards there is not many dogs that will keep up.she is only twenty two inches.i would like to hear from other people with small dogs....

Alright, Ive got a Bedlington Whippett, 23 Inches, very fast off the mark and your right there isnt much that gets away from these little flyers!!! :clapper:

Alright, Ive got a Bedlington Whippett, 23 Inches, very fast off the mark and your right there isnt much that gets away from these little flyers!!! :clapper:

well i got myself a little greyhoundxwhippet and iam really shocked it came to me seeming really timid and scared now a few months on it gaurds the house like its a doberman.i take it for a walk with the lurchers and it just dosnt stop moving bushing running on seeing if it can get out up i have honestly not had a dog like it.also get home after a walk out the lurchers are catching breath the whipx is still full of beans is this right lol 4/5month old 18"tts at the moment :thumbs:

I've always preferred a tall, leggy dog (don't have to bend down too far to stroke them or get their leads on :laugh:) ... but I can see now that what I really need for round here is a smaller whippety type .... someday ....
