That brolly type system means you dont have to carry an extra bag, gos right in the quiver along with all you need for it..........I went over to it when I was fishing a bigger pit and didnt want to cart tons of gear around.

Its not a chore to move swims, its the way forward.

Its got me thinking of getting a new bivvy and its a choice between the nash double top professional(mk2) or the trakker areo lite.

I must admit im not a keen fan of them brolly systems.

Wilf what are them purple/red rods you got in the picture.

Hello Airgunner,

The brolly systems are excellent, I have been out in some really awfull storms and never had a problem, fished winters in it......still good.

Belive it or not, that will take 2 bedchairs with ease.

The rods were built by Simpsons of Turnford on a blank they produced with Jim Gibbinson.........they were really nice.

I have sold them now and use Century SPs :victory:

I also have an original set of Maddocks KMDT,s also made by Simpsons.........I will never part with them, truly a classic...........I still use them to this day for surface fishing and stalking.........over 20 years old and still going strong.

Next week they will be seeing some Barbel with luck :victory:

I have decided I definitely need a new bivvy, one like yours looks perfect Wilf. Mine take ages to put up and take down which is a real pain. :wallbash:

Do you find that the camo sleeping bag stops the carp spooking when you are snoozy pops Wilf? :D

edit: Just checked the price £370
