fergie 0
You need to think of what you want out of it? i.e size when packed down, price range, size(size of the swims you fish),style pram hood, umbrella Quote Link to post
Guest WILF
That brolly type system means you dont have to carry an extra bag, gos right in the quiver along with all you need for it..........I went over to it when I was fishing a bigger pit and didnt want to cart tons of gear around. Its not a chore to move swims, its the way forward. Quote Link to post
AIRGUNNER 1
Its got me thinking of getting a new bivvy and its a choice between the nash double top professional(mk2) or the trakker areo lite. I must admit im not a keen fan of them brolly systems. Wilf what are them purple/red rods you got in the picture. Quote Link to post
Guest WILF
Hello Airgunner, The brolly systems are excellent, I have been out in some really awfull storms and never had a problem, fished winters in it......still good. Belive it or not, that will take 2 bedchairs with ease. The rods were built by Simpsons of Turnford on a blank they produced with Jim Gibbinson.........they were really nice. I have sold them now and use Century SPs I also have an original set of Maddocks KMDT,s also made by Simpsons.........I will never part with them, truly a classic...........I still use them to this day for surface fishing and stalking.........over 20 years old and still going strong. Next week they will be seeing some Barbel with luck Quote Link to post
wink hound 0
Trackker pioneer or specimen Tuft......lightweight, up in seconds and loads of room.......dogs danglys pal. hard to beleive you can get 4.5 people and lardy assed cammo man in one of them!!! Guest WILF
(the .5 being fellman obviously) We sit him outside with a rod, like a fecking garden gnome Quote Link to post
mart123blue 0
I have decided I definitely need a new bivvy, one like yours looks perfect Wilf. Mine take ages to put up and take down which is a real pain. Do you find that the camo sleeping bag stops the carp spooking when you are snoozy pops Wilf? edit: Just checked the price £370 Edited July 21, 2008 by mart123blue Quote Link to post
Guest WILF
edit: Just checked the price £370 Check here matey........ http://www.brentwoodangling.co.uk/trakker/...er_specimen.htm I am told it covers up the "stains" Quote Link to post
