went out this morning at 3.30am to get to my permission for 4.00am so i was there for first light.

this property is 55 acres it has hares /rabbits/pigeons/crows/squirrels just about every thing.

so got me self set up and took a mooch i know there was a thread on here about shooting hares with an air rifle but the chance came up and i took it .

clean kill just thought i would put it to the test, i know some of you guys don't agree with it but there you go.

so carried on down to the back of the land and could see a group of bunnies hugging the hedge line about 80 yds away so used the small trees to obscure there you of me to stalk down to them got me self settled about 35/40 yds from them took me time didn't rush had a 15 minute breather then cross hairs up and locked on yes you guessed it THWACK moved me aim slightly and THWACK another down ,then moved to the right a bit more it was just going in to the hedge THWACK game over for those three.

waited about a 1 hour two more came out to my left now this was a bit tricky because i had to shuffle back on me belly move me gun round the tree get comfortable and take the shot this took about 10 Min's didn't want them to see any movement so was really slow moving these two were 45yds opened me bi pod slowly, steady breathing controlled cross hairs on target THWACK straight down it went its mate put its head high slight move of the swivel THWACK job done nice and clean.

went to the far right of the property were the plan shows rabbits seen where they was got me self under another tree and just waited for movement.

1hour passed i could see movement just on the brow of a ditch so waited patiently then 1,2,3 out they came almost like dancing they were ,so i got me gun to shoulder and just slowly panned there movement until one stopped they settled down after a while a quick squeak of the lips up its head comes up THWACK panned to me left THWACK went for the Brucie bonus and missed didn't get time to take another shot because it shot off.

started to head back up to the front of the house and about 150 yds could see a lone Bunnie through me binos so took a slow stalk down to where it was.

got down on me belly could see the Bunnie through the tree couldn't get a clear shot so watched it for a while as soon as its head turned away from me i moved me bi pod about 2 inches still couldn't get a clear shot so had to wait again once it moved its head again so did i move got me clear shot i so patiently waited for.

brought the cross hairs up to target just as i did it moved now this Bunnie was still for ages just grooming its face it had a big stretch out just as you and i would do after just getting up in the morning and sat on top of a mud pile which i take was its toilet so while it was having a morning dump cross hairs locked THWACK what a way to go LOL after the shot i caught movement out of the corner of my eye another had been behind a tree well it would be rude not to so THWACK dead as a door nail here is a pic

Hell of a read there davy, took me a while but I enjoyed it all hahaha!! Nice shooting mate!! :gunsmilie: !! Looks like you did that rabbit a favour, as I am sure those big ass teeth would have caused it some problems!! Dwayne dibbley!!! hahahaha!!

yeah the side of its hair on its head was worn where it must have had to graze with its ear horizontal to the ground

nick named it long tooth lol
