So why is he still in buisness then...go have a look for youself if you believe everything you hear in this forum you'd never own a dog...I've had a couple of hancocks and I've absolutely no complaints and I'm sure there's a few more in here that have them...I've said it many times before..."theres no such thing as a bad dog..only bad owners"

I only posted on here the other day about Hancock.

I got one from him, well pleased with the dog. Its free to go and look round, you dont have to get one if its not what you like.

you look at any "bad" dog and I'll bet 99.9% of the time it'll be something the owners did... :icon_eek:

does he just breed them or does he actually work them?

He's in his 70's now ...dont think he works any of his stud dogs but I could be wrong....do you think its important? :hmm:

well yeah cos if i was buying a WORKING dog a would at least want one off of working parents!!!!

Why?....dogs arn't born workers thats something they have to learn...and given that any pup you buy is around the 7 - 8 week mark it wont have learned anything from mum. and in the case of a 3/4grey x the likelyhood is that the dam hasn't been worked..so it dont really matter doe's it?

not to stir an arguement but IF i went to hancock and asked for a pup from say foxing parents... would he be able to tell me what dogs he has that have taken fox??? and you cant say "get a bull cross" :)

Nope dont think so! but wont make any diff you enter your pup correctly he/she will take fox whether or not parents have took fox :icon_eek:

dogs are not born with any antipathy toward foxes...thats something you need to instill in them.

I hear what your saying but it wont make any diff to your pup!....with Hancock your buying a particular x whether it works or not is up to you not the parents of the pup.
