Let us know Sean! I'll be interested to see if you can double load it or whether they have just changed the cocking mechanism for vanity. I know the HW100 has pushed the bar up so this could be interesting to see. Got to agree with you Chris the new AAs cocking mechanism is suspiciously like the HW100.......but is it as good... I know the HW100 has pushed the bar up so this could be interesting to see. well......... i can confirm that it is an s410 with side cocking lever basically!!! chris.......they have changed it for vanity, you can double/triple and quad load if you want !!! when the its cocked it indexes the mag...........so you can fill the barel with pellets the mechanism is very light and smooth.........but , equal to the HW100????.......not even close!!! worth the extra over the s410??.................IMO....no!! cheers sean Quote Link to post

Looked at a hw100 sport lovely stock not the thumbhole one very nice much lighter than the others i`ve looked at before. Trouble is the price weirhach have put on them now . Good quality gun i must admit if mine had to of gone back to AAs i think i would of plumbed for one of them. Quote Link to post

The one i looked at yesterday was hw100 sport carbine £720 brand new 2 magazines and silencer 2 weeks ago it was only £620 price going up on them due to popularity never no might even do a trade in lol. SEAN3513 7 Posted August 9, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 9, 2008 well im back!!!!!..........piss wet through........but im back from the fields with the s510. first 10 shots went ok...........reloaded 6 more shots then the mag jammed!!!! sorted that out ( rouge pellet)...not the s510's fault. very easy rifle to shoulder, easy to cock and easy to fire ( the trigger is very good). but i have to say it is a 410......with side cocking. only managed one woodie due to the weather and sorry no pics also due to the weather. so to sum up: yes a good gun, worth the extra over a 410......no i don't think so!!! as good as the hw100 ( as it has side cocking lever aswell)............not even close. the major disapointment is the fact that you can double , triple , etc...load. as every time you cock the mag indexes.........if it had been made the same as the hw100 it would be worth the extra money. would i buy one???.............no, not new, but may be tempted with a second hand one ( as long as it was cheap....lol !!) just my opinion folks all the best sean Quote Link to post
