Ive got one the same age and she shows she wants to go but im holding her back because i dont want to ruin her but if shes off the lead and she runs one i let her go but everyone has a different view on this subject thats just mine Quote Link to post

Not all dogs are the same, also the owners ability to jugde when there dog is ready. Its not that simple and is down to experiance, find out for yourself, you will learn more in the long run. When I have a pup i,am bringing on I mooch about with it every day in the countryside but only when I know it will come running back to me when I call it, you have to bond with the dog and it has to have a willingness to please you. My pups often come running back with pigeons or rabbits they have pulled out of the hedge back,but you have to be on your toes in case you have to call them back, you have to nurture them. A dog is allways learning from day one and so is the owner its all down to experience and is not a straight answer you can be given on a plate. Sorry if my last answer semmed a bit brash.
