Rolfe 2
Another example of exploiting rabbits habits. In this garden the rabbits always ran along the side of the garage to escape and enter the garden area. By placing a cage on the run alongside the wall I was able to catch 14 rabbits from the one spot. Although I started with bait in the cages.........after a while I didn't bother as the cage had become so well scented by the previous occupants........that, that was all that was needed to entice them in. Rolfe 2
Rolfe, how did you position then cages; to catch emerging or retreating bunnies? If you catch my drift. It was placed in one direction to catch them coming into the garden........then turned around the other way for a time. i caught most entering the garden........... would have placed two cages back to back.........but space was tight. H No.........all my cages are single entry ones...........I run 30-40 at a time on my contracts if the rabbit numbers warrant it. I have never had problem with rabbits entering a cage that has a closed end........providing it is sited it the right location of course. Quote Link to post
