The only decent fair left visiting was Lowther and that was starting to show signs of less hunting gear, more cheap tools, plastic toys and patio furniture.

At the Midland they were caught selling Coca Cola at £2.70 a pint and even had the nerve to pour it out of 2litre bottles marked £1.69... they even had the nerve to try and stop people bringing in their own beer. The Sunday morning saw a half mile queue for the toilets because they didn't empty them, closing the gents and splitting the womens in half. This effectively left 10 stalls for a couple of thousand people. Smelled nice!

It's a joke but the more people that are willing to pay £4 for a lamb pasty, and £30 for a plastic crossbow, the more they'll keep squeezing you for everything they can.

Buyer beware. They're currently strangling the goose that laid the golden egg.

Absolutely spot on Chris, its legalized fecking exploitation, and robbery.

£52 for a family isn't cheap. But once in there is plenty of fieldsports activities to enjoy. Some of stalls tend to be a bit pricey but if i want anything i will barter, you will be surprised how much they will come down[remember at moment it is a buyers market].

You know full well you will get ripped off on food and drink so just take your own.

Can imagine there won't be too many "normal" people there!

£52 is bad enough, but on top of fuel, losing a days work and feeding 4 mouths in there, it's ridiculous!

Too right "Strong Stuff"...daylight robbery...

Hello folks.

I agree with Snatcheatrr.

Its best to take food and drink and tell sellers to poke it.

Good day out though as it has to be said that we are not catered for by tv.

Will be good to see products in the flesh instead of magazines where writers only brown nose to makers and importers instead of truthfully rating items.

Bryan.
