I can see that being worth it zap, thats what you dont mind paying out for :drink: It just fecks me of when they ask that kind of money for a posible 5-6 hour look round what amounts to a market dodging flyers from double glazing Companies and solar panels

Midland looks good but I got to add £120 in gordon browns coffers to get there and back

The midland is not £120 it may be with camping what I was refering to is that I would have to put £120 of diesel in my motor to get there and back before I bought a ticket.

how about ( with ian b's permission) THL approach the CLA and do a bulk buy ( discounted) for tickets??

(probably to late now for this year)

if people put there names down by a certain date.....then order the tickets no one will be stuck with tickets they don't want.

i'm sure theres enough of us on here that would like to go.

and i'm also sure that if ....for example...someone ordered a couple of hundred tickets a decent didcount would be offered????

just a thought!!

its the same at most shows now.........lowther last year was expensive!!

cheers

The only decent fair left visiting was Lowther and that was starting to show signs of less hunting gear, more cheap tools, plastic toys and patio furniture.

At the Midland they were caught selling Coca Cola at £2.70 a pint and even had the nerve to pour it out of 2litre bottles marked £1.69... they even had the nerve to try and stop people bringing in their own beer. The Sunday morning saw a half mile queue for the toilets because they didn't empty them, closing the gents and splitting the womens in half. This effectively left 10 stalls for a couple of thousand people. Smelled nice!

It's a joke but the more people that are willing to pay £4 for a lamb pasty, and £30 for a plastic crossbow, the more they'll keep squeezing you for everything they can.

Buyer beware. They're currently strangling the goose that laid the golden egg.
