alright all.

.i know this isnt a bodybuilding forum but is there any serious weight trainers in here who could recomend any good supplements (not for me im a fat twat).... ive heard abut the normal creatine etc but is there any that stand out from the rest???

personally i don't think all that shite is good for you..................go natural and build up slow............toned up is better than blown up............

plus its expensive............get your carbs and protien sorted................and a good work out plan and save your money just my opinion...........

There was a HUGE weightlifting thread a couple of weeks ago which i started. give that a read.

 

I have never been really into weight training but had a dabble, and i have trained with and without protein shakes and i found a good protein diet just as good.

 

Eat plenty of fish and chicken and eggs and cut the carbs a little.

 

Also from what i understand, creatine just retains water for a 'bulked appearance' although i may be wrong.

alright mate i mite be able to help im a fitness intsructor what is it your mate wants to do as different supplements can do different things,

 

i know you say your mate wants to be a body builder but there are different phases like building stacking striping and toning were is he up to?

Danny boi, you'll be able to give me a quick answer.... whats the muscle that runs up the outside of your shin bone, kind of opposite to the calf i guess??

 

Tibialis anterior is the muscle that lies along the shin bone...i'm no fitness instructor...but me wifes a nurse :D

both me and my mrs are nurses, but psychiatric ones, couldn't be arsed to look it up...... :icon_redface::icon_redface: ...... my ones now seem to be the quickest forming ones leading on from the skipping thread, ache like f**k but are already starting to coat my shins!!!

I've done my fare share untill a brawn that fuxxed my arm up. Diet simple as.

he trains on and off with me at work,he is quite a big fella but wants to turn his bulk into muscle so i suppose he wants to cut up

either you or your mate ought to pop onto the FLEX magazine web site it'll give him loads of tips i could possibly tell you what works

for me some else what works for them pop on that site & good luck at the gym but 1 thing i will say a good way to shed pop downto a boxing gym & mix cardio with weights
