liteforce striker

is the battery new??
brand new never had any bloody luck with these lamps

 

i got a 12 v 17 amp batter 'yuasa' i think it is lasts approx 6 hours on striker and 2 hours on blitz on and off lamping :thumbs:

Something wrong there mate the striker and the blitz have the same bulb in them so should last the same length of time :hmm:

 

If the battery was new did you charge it fully before using it?? If not you might of fecked it as alot of batterys have memory and only charge to were they were charged too the first time.

my mate has the same and gets a couple of nights lamping before he charges his

Using a car charger on sealed lead acid batteries will ruin them a lot quicker..

hi butler yes charged it fully before going out and when tested it says fully charged

every battery iv used the blitz still uses more power, we did use a 12 volt 21 amp battery off a gold caddy lasted about 24 hours on a striker and 10 on a blitz very good battery we now have a new 21 amp battery off the rail somehwere which lasts approx 12-14 hours on our blitz but a little bigger than the last 1

thats right is melted mine and was pouring acid out, i now use a 12 v rac charger from argos priced around £30 i think best charger iv ever used never melted a battery like the old big car charger with no overcharge button :wallbash:

only charged it twice and the reading always says fully charged

i can get same as mine for £10 only one left im getting it tomorrow my mate bought 2 last week lamped with them monday both lasted 2 hours each on a blitz so same as mine jus diff colour, both 17 amp aswell :yes:
