Meerihunter 7 Posted July 14, 2008 Report Share Posted July 14, 2008 The young lad and I went out for an hour or so today, the horses were out a particular field with some nice but very deep open sets. As is to be expected they were not bolting too readily, I only had 3 jills and the set is very large and deep and it really needs a bigger team to pressure the rabbits enough to bolt especially this time of year. We managed to account for 10 bolters before packing up. Quote Link to post

Yes it's very deep and really needs 5+ ferrets working to make the most of it. It is a lovely area to hunt over but there are real nightmare sets on the railway embankments.
