kits biting each other

hi guys wondering if u could help. i gave my 6 kits a rabbit yesterday and because they had blood on there head the others would bite there heads.

there 7wks 4 days old and wanted to take the mother out but i put her back in because she cleans them and dnt want any to get eatin.

any help would be great

ok thanks alot jus yesterday one dragged one about with the chin and i was a little worried

 

 

probably just playing, my two do it all the time jumping on each other and biting but never drav blood or anything, just like kids i spose

sorry but kits do eat eachother my kits were 7 weeks old 1 day there was 10 next day there was 7 no way of escape through hutch or run or even garden and there was still food in bowl the following morning,,,,,,,,,,,explain

The only way i think kitts or the jill would eat other kitts is if they didn't have enough grub or sensed there was something wrong with them

good point, they would have to be bloody hungry though wouldnt they? :icon_eek:

Ferrets do eat each other , adults & kits had it happen twice here , food available both times, i just put it down to them knowing something i didnt

oh God how awful Kay, where they old kits though?
