woodga 170
well yesterday saw me mooching around looking for some fox cubs i knew were about as i had seen the signs feathers, flatened areas shit, ect , ect any way a good few rabbits were running around this field so i decided to put a few peg wires down an hour before dark ,i knew the foxes would have a rabbit or two but they will pay the price shortly here are a few picture from the morning this is the field areas of it are very wet and some runs are flooded at the moment how ever when they dry out it will be a good productive set see how that big loop covers the run and the snare is set up at hight thats how to take rabbits in this long grass we still caught a few though can you see the snare waiting i saw some fresh fox shit in the grass and guess what next a partially eaten rabbit i was sure i had seen a brown shape run into an old pipe so i went over to have a better look yes it had been a fox as its foot prints were there to be seen wet pad marks on the concrete ledge ah well its mine now . a nice mooch this morning a pleasure to be out Quote Link to post
