SportingShooter 0 Posted July 13, 2008 Report Share Posted July 13, 2008 Its nonsense mate. I am very involved in the Welsh Woodcock Club and nothing of this sort has even been mentioned. The Woodcock is no under threat in this country and the numbers fluctuate year on year so you cannot tell whether their numbers are falling here. They can compare the amount of successful breeding pairs which are resident here but not the migratory ones from Russia and Scandinavia. Where did this info come from?
