Sighthound 49 Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 nothing wrong with a small car battary,mines 32 amp hr last all night and keeps me fit,bit much after a couple of hares and rabbits to carry with it though,was thinking of splashing out on new one.anyony know of a good sterdy long lasting make that doesnt cost the earth?? There was a guy at the Scottish game fair last week selling lamping batteries at a fraction of the price you pay in shops...I'm at work at the mo I'll put up his addy and phone number when I get home mate. aye my mate bought one and it lasted one charge Quote Link to post
