your lamping kit.

nothing wrong with a small car battary,mines 32 amp hr last all night and keeps me fit,bit much after a couple of hares and rabbits to carry with it though,was thinking of splashing out on new one.anyony know of a good sterdy long lasting make that doesnt cost the earth??

 

There was a guy at the Scottish game fair last week selling lamping batteries at a fraction of the price you pay in shops...I'm at work at the mo I'll put up his addy and phone number when I get home mate. :victory:

thats the problem iv had is finding equipment you can drag through muddy wet ditches and blackthorn hedges in the shittyest of nights without it falling to bits.dont even bother with debon,they,r simply out to catch the hunter.that kind of you undisputed but im 10hours drive from scotland,any other ideas,? :good: Edited by ooty

He is based down south mate...lol but from what that guy said I wouldnt bother... I buy mine from Arthur Carter never have any hassle :victory:

very ingenious leepy1 my mate carries golf buggy battery but hes 18 years old an a full time rugby pro

i have.i found the besr alround for me is the light force million cp lite force,it has ajustable beam,foood to spot ideal for lamping or ratting.its battarys iv never found that are up to the job,i use a 32 amp hr battary off a big gennerater but it a lump. :thumbs:

Best lamp iv ever used was lightforce blitz conected up to a battery out of a drive on lawn mower used get about 2 and half hours+ out of it ....

ARTHUR CARTER IS A GREAT COMPANY THE FELLA PETER GOES OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP YOU NEED A PART FOR THE LAMP BATTERY NEXT DAY ITS ON THE MAT IN THE HALLWAY.
iv had carter packs they fall apart as bad as the rest and are very expensive, :thumbs:
