I got a new battery last week,17ah,but my brother-in-laws an engineer,he has a 75ah battery at home,weight an absolute ton,wouldnt like that on my back some of the places we go

nothing wrong with a small car battary,mines 32 amp hr last all night and keeps me fit,bit much after a couple of hares and rabbits to carry with it though,was thinking of splashing out on new one.anyony know of a good sterdy long lasting make that doesnt cost the earth??

There was a guy at the Scottish game fair last week selling lamping batteries at a fraction of the price you pay in shops...I'm at work at the mo I'll put up his addy and phone number when I get home mate.
