Anyone know any web-sites that sell land in acre sized plots?Not with planning permission,just as a sort of hobbyist allotment area?South-east england? :hmm:

 

What are you gonna dig a any method trout fishery, errrr....."Sweetcorn Ponds Fishery" :clapper:

Diet Lee?I had stirfried organic steak tonight mate :victory: Nope,we might be moving to Tunbridge Wells so I am just looking for a small patch of land,I like growing things :victory:

I bought 100 acres earlier this year Higgins,for a shade over 30k,but its abroad,just looking at the moment mate,kent or essex area :victory:

Well,the farm I have is 7000 miles away,your papayas and mangoes might be a little over-ripe by the time you get back to old blighty,and no using sweet-corn in the mother-in-laws tilapia ponds ;)

Thanks for that Mick,most of the woods have covenants,and the land website deals in parcels,in the area I am looking of normally over and acre,I guess I will just keep looking :victory: Unless theres an acre next door to my bossom-buddy LG for sale? :hmm:

Yeah,just had a look mate,same as most of the other web-stes,just sells plots of land for building homes on,never mind,I will keep looking,anyone actually bought an acre in south east england just to grow things on?Keep bees on etc? :hmm: How much on average for an acre?

Would renting for the time being be compatible with your plans? It would take local knowledge to find, but the right plot could be suprisingly cheap to rent. At the moment, the market for small plots of land has been knackered by idiots who get their planning advice down the pub and think they can buy a field, put a letterbox and sign on the gate, and before you know it, be building their dream home there.

 

Perhaps as reality sets in over the next couple of years, people might become a lot keener to off load their pony paddocks and 'building' plots at sensible prices.
