DIGZY 4
What would you rather do ? sit in with some mates and have a quiet drink ? or go to the pub or nightclub ? i think the smoking ban has killed the pubs bigtime
Kay 3,709
I would rather stay in to be honest with a pot of tea
scottishlass 57
i like to go out now and again round the pubs but the best nights i have had is in the house with a a group of mates,it does help we have a mate who is great on guitar and can burst into any song from rock, pop, folk, country its more than likely daylight by the time the party finishes

No dont do clubs i would feel totally out of place in a club or pub now, they dont appeal to me , i am the woman who sits there all night not dancing or drinking watching every one else have a good time, i am not really a mixer so clubs just dont do it for me
hue jeers 6
Nice to go out now and then, nice to stop in as well. The place don't matter it's the company you keep that makes a night out in my opinion. Agree with Dorris though, I f'ckin hate loud music, it makes me violent.
Rabbithunter 456
stay in.... no pub culture left round here, smoking ban and price of a pint has knackered it
maty j 6
I very rarely go out. Like you Kay i'm not much of a "mixer" unless the is in but the cost of it now I'd rather spend it on more worthwhile things or stay in with a few mates. What's a pint cost now in a pub? 2.50 in the local pubs, in town most are 3 quid+. Whiskey, 2.00-2.50 a single and I'm not paying 30+ quid just for drinks then theres food and admission etc, it soon mounts up. Much cheaper to stay in and just as good with the right people

Guest Name
A good night out is great, but sitting in with a few (10) cans is also good, although drinking stella i still end up fighting (with my self) and i come off worse Night in gets my vote

I've never noticed it anyway..
