Without getting into a slanging match about white v coloured its a well known fact that they do not produce consistently high % of workers.They look good and i know of a few decent ones infact im looking after a few for a mate but he would admit that they are not the workers or the producers that many coloured lines are.Oh thats unless that you believe that they are all throw backs to the Illfracombe club terriers???I have kept and worked a few but 1 quit for no reason on his second dig in a puppy earth.The other refused to travel even at over 2,BUT they would clean up at shows.I think thats their main purpose in life.

good coments from pip and fell you prats these puppy breeders where probably digging big holes while you where still shiting yellow and yes fell the onearmed bandit could dig thats why blackledge hefferman stacy robberts middelton dann and a good few more and the irish lads came and invited ken gould the puppy breeder for a dig or 2 or3 4 5 and still do maybe and also was buck parks bray and others breeders or did they just give there lines and pupps away to any body pip seeing you dont know or wish to know ken i think you have missed a big chance to learn something about breeding pups

its only since i signed up to this forum that i realised how many people were intrested at what blood flowed through a dogs veins than what a dog does, iv obviously heard of the famous names nuttal, middleton etc etc but never knew so many people cared, obviously these dogs are good bloodlines but i dont really care what bloods in a dog, since iv been on here anybody that asks what dogs iv got i tell them and they ask what bloods in it what lines they from, the answer is i cant trace them back 20 years but i know the important part and my thoughts are i aint too bothered either.

how long has smithy been dead for? i read somewhere it was '86. does anyone think there are still some dogs still tightly bred to smithy as its been roughly 20 year since he past away.

 

also i read in a couple of articles that a dog named grip off cowan breeding was the sire to smithy. was there many good dogs off cowans breeding and are they still about? he's not one you hear of much

ah ok but thought with it being friday night you would of already bathed and blow dried them ready for a show or 2 this weekend.
