thats correct yea and killing hares single handed at 7 iv nowt to prove by lying have i to take it if your dogs cant do it no one elses can i dint say she killed all time at that age i said it was a one off you knowlike when your dogs get sumat its a one off

 

I agree with you paul totally, my bitch caught here first rabbit by four months and took 4 or 5 hares single handed by nine months, not saying there wasn't a lot of luck, and not saying it was wise, but it can definetly be done by a dog no problem

well i will say litter sister to mine was taking hare single handed at 9 month he never showed it a rabbit or lamped it either and when he did lamp the dog it came to its lifes

end.so me looking at someone like that iam glad i embedded training in my dog earlier than some

wheni said 7 i meant 7 year old my fault but she did kill her first doubled up hare at 9 month running with her mum t be honest her mum jacked she carried on and killed it out wetherby on big land needles to say the mother was re homed as a pet!

thank god someone who believes in luck or chance and that a dog dont have to be 18 month before it can kill hare .this guy obviously knows there are no rules in this game and anything is possible thats why i love the sport its UNPREDICTABLE !

once went to look at some pups a real live romany living in a bow top that had pulled into the lane one summer evening. he showed me the pups first about eight all seven week old living under the bowtop in a kennel with the bitch chained to the wheel.she still had a bit of milk on her as the pups looked a bit keen, anyhow i asked him if the bitch was any good on hares and he uncoupled her and started to walk into the field with all the little mites following.i told him he might ruin the bitch if she had a serius run in that condition but he just smiled. 30 yards away up jumps a hare and the race was on bitch binding up and turning it all over the field just as it was going to get away she turned it from the gate and the hare ran straight back at us, i just stared in disbelief as if rolled and killed it at my feet, the romany smiled and walked over to where i was stood and looking at my face said if you think that was good look over your shoulder, as i looked each one of the pups was carrying a baby levert... true story honest

Shamefull admission,she only got it because one of my kids incapacitated it by pulling off the wings,yup,the fly was a dropper
