locator batteries

I went and bought them for a collar.When i bought the collare it had one batt in it i took that to the shop and she gave me 2 charged me 6quid :censored: anyway the batt should not rattle when in the collar right?Cz it aint working are the batteries thicker than normal.I wish i hadnt got involved in locators lol

Sorry to hear about the probs with your MK3?? SH :icon_eek: i,m sure the batteries are the hearing aid type as i have seen the Energizer make in Asda..they do look the same as the ones i got with my locator last autumn.On the instructions it recommends 2x 393 batteries or other equivalents are v393,sr48,rw48,r393/15 & sr48w..hope this helps..Andy

Cheers mate im away up town now to get some.I got to know if this works today.the locator goes crazy when i switch it on to serch i think its the laptop that making it. :icon_eek:

Got the batteries 48w it still dont work.The locator screams its head off in search mode.On locate you put it over the collar and nothing and as i said its not the collar thats making it scream in search.Im well pissed off now.the collar is grey and has a number 3 on the back.Are they prone to breaking?

no mate, a mk3 wont pick up a mk1 collar, are you sure you have the batteries in the correct way, 1 points up, the other down, the locator shouldent be making loads of niose when switched on, unless its near the collar, (or within 16ft) so put the collar ar least that much away, then see if the led's and higher pitched bleeps take you too the collar

Oh dear i just emailed the seller rioting and i had the batteries in the same way face down lol.
