marco 24
how will i no if there is out down the set what will the dog do each dog will probably give a different reaction,it could do anything from;scrat at the set, winge, hope fully not bark,or even just stare at the set.my bed/whippet actually bites the earth around the set and iv'e even tried to prove him wrong on a number of occasions and have yet failed to do so,i trust his judgement a 100% like i said earlier you get to know how to read your dog in time, good luck Quote Link to post
Guest matty_g
my dog is about 4 year old will it still be alrite to take Quote Link to post
doddsy1970 9
I agree with Marco a dog would help but failing that you also ahve to look at the reaction of your ferrets asm well mine wont bother going down a hole if there is nothing at home all they will do is sniff the entrance maybe go in a foot or so turn round and come out. The other thing is are you making too much noise is the ground noisy (icy etc) is the wind blowing in to the holes, are they new ferrets, is it a huge warren.... All these things can make a difference Quote Link to post
