Cut yourself some from hazel mate..........cheaper and easier than buying some in if your in need of some quick.

on one of my longets i use 8mm aliminium poles, strong, light weight & do the job well.

Ive got 5 fibreglass longnet poles you can have mate, although you may need a few more for a 50yd'er, get a lift of ya old man, or wait till the next ferreting trip out

Have you tried contacting mole catcher on here? I could be wrong but Im sure he can sell them to you at a very reasonable price!

what sort of thickness would you need to make sure a hazel pole is strong enough but not too heavy?
