hello this is my first post on this forum,i would just like to let you know my cocker bitch has had a litter of 6 pups (5bitches 1 dog) all healthy dad is an ESS and both parents are graet workers.both mainly work under my female harris hawk alongside the ferrets but also some rough and pigeon shooting.

my intention is to keep a pup back to bring on both parents qualities the others will be up for sale

hi maite can you tell me any details d/dc , price , any solid coloured pups and anything else which might be of importance to me

all pups legally docked and dewclawed microchipped ready to go 04/09/08, pups are as seen in the photo all black and white markings,and will turn out just like theyre dad (in pic below) both parents working to hawk and gun, these pups will make great working dogs.

You were lucky to find a vet that will dock a crossbreed, as they are not allowed to do this to "combination" breeds.

 

Hope you get good homes for them.

 

Just out of curosity why ?..they look like spaniels at this age and a vet has never asked the breeding of spaniels before just usually wants to see gun licence and documentry proof of breeding

Sorry for the late reply.

If you look at the paperwork it stipulates that there should be a "true to type breed" which should have been confirmed by the vet prior to docking, and no "combination" breeds ( mongrels). Thats the legislation. Cant say I agree as they are working dogs and susceptible to tail damage.

As long as you have the necessary paperwork I would not worry about it.

on the paper work I have it says......

 

section 6. hunt point retrieve breeds of any type or combination of types

spaniels of any type or combination of types

terriers of any type or combination of types

did'nt notice you are from wales but....surely the border means nowt :thumbdown:

a dog can work either side of it ....or infact be docked either side of it?????
