locator from ebay

Well it arrived today and it aint the one he had advertised.Its grey and black also it does not have the squelch button.It has sliding buttons on either side.Im guessing the s and the l mean locate and search>the other side is to switch it on i think(no battery)It does say deben ferret finder 3.Im guessing i have been bumped :wallbash:

Did you pay via paypal? if so open a dispute for ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED, also file a dispute on eBay mate....I would contact him straight away and tell him your not happy,,Sellers can no longer leave bad feedback for buyers so threaten him with this.Hope you get it sorted ATB :thumbs:

Sent him cash in a registerd envelope.I dont have paypal.I cant be bothered with all the hassle.I have never owned a locator then reading all the posts i got swayed to getting one.how shit is this?And why does it say f*****g 3 on it :wallbash:

well if it is a mk3 you shouldnt have a problem , the squelch isnt the be all and end all . tell him you want a tenner back as it is not what you bidded on or you want all your money back

stick some batteries in it mate, and give it a go in the garden, you may find not having the pin point button makes it easier to use,

chuck the collar up the garden, flick it onto locate mode, and see how it goes, once you get the led's at the lowest depth, then flick the switch to search (or is it the other way round, my minds gone blank :icon_redface: ) that should then let you "home" in on it even more, to at least 6"

 

by all means contact the seller and complain that he's mis-lead you on the description, as the pictured item is the newer version, ask for a good 25% refund, if he gives you no joy, tell him your in contact with hundreds of ferreters, that may well be living on his doorstep :laugh:

LOL aye and were dubious charachters at the best of times.I will need to buy batteries there was none in the collar or the locator.Do you just buy them from a jeweller those wee collar ones?
