With all due respect, doga. If you've got a cheap, underpowered, rifle you really shouldn't be hunting with it.
im sure your right criss,i did not say i was hunting with it and the question i aked was ho to tune it up so as i could hunt with it,with all due respect. ;)

This is correct (in so far as you didn't say you were hunting with it) but in Chris' defence, you had indicated you wanted to though? You were asked in a previous post whether you would be hunting with it - to which your answer was (and I quote) "yep but mainly at knight . . . ."

Please don't think of me as interfering, I am only trying to avert any ill feelings guys.

Regards, ;)

Grim

PS: Er . . . . .I'll grab the popcorn now! :whistling:

I am glad you took my perspective well mate, i meant no offence;)

Yeah, ok i can see what you were meaning now (i think) thanks to your last comments.

I have to say that i am in agreement with whats already been said really  , and unfortunately (for you in your circumstances) CO2 rifles in general work with just too many variables. Thereby, any tuning work undertaken would, in all essence, be virtually worthless really, in terms of a consistent performance and accuracy?

I know its not what you want to hear bud, but if you can see your way to putting some cash away over a period of time, then when you have enough of a 'cash stash', you may be in a position to consider something like say, an Air Airms S200?

Just a suggestion well worth thinking about ol' bean.

All the best,

Grim

quite right sir will take away what you say and concider it,i dont profece to now much about air guns,No worries there - help and advice is what this forum is about. On here, there is a large database of experience for you, and others in a position similar to your own to fall back on. Innit!? Remember this - we all had to start off with no experience once, and as a result of that, you'll find that we don't bite. ;)

had a few and obviously need a new one well hears to saving. :victory: Absolutely! You could always use the time between now and when you have the funds you need for your next rifle, to get some practice in with your present scope/rifle combination. Then, you'll find that when the time comes, you will be quite proficient with the basics, and so will be that much more confident.

Hope this is of help to you mate?

With all due respect, doga, this is an airgun forum on a hunting site but I'll concede that you're not hunting and if I've made an unnecessary mental leap between target shooting and hunting, then apologies are in order.

However, we don't allow rifle tunes on the forum, and you'd know this if you'd read the sticky posts at the top of the forum. You'll get all advice but that.

With all due respect of course. ;)
