marco 24
couldn't agree more, Marco......but why would you want a 5mth old PUP running rabbits anyway????? if you want your 5mth old PUP mouthing rabbits let it see a few the nets while your out ferreting, instead of leaving it in the kennel.............. just a thought Pan alright pan, its something we have always done,we have always shown the pups rabbits at 5-6 months,as you know rabbits dropped on nuetral ground dont know where they are going so is an obvious advantage to the pup, some lads have said its unsportingly which it might be but iv'e got a pup to bring on so im not bothered thats the way it will have to be.the whippet bitch pup is my mates its very forward for its age and already its like sh*t off a stick,my mate will leave it in for 2-3 months now and then maybe take it ferreting then.you mentioned taking it out now and let it see a few rabbits hit the nets, but wouldn,t you be shouting at it for grabing the rabbits in the net and most probably discourage the pup, anyway pan i respect your reply because its looks as though youv'e been around a bit and know the crack but like i said in an earlier post its my way and im still getting good results with my schooling tactics, regards marco Quote Link to post
