stevolad 26
I got given this DVD and wasn't at all impressed with it, sorry wasn't impressed with the dogs on it. That's not my thing though, I am a lamping man and i've seen much better DVDs with lamping foxes with lurchers. Quote Link to post
Guest SJM
I thought this dvd got rave reviews a while back on here? Is it the one with merle collie crosses in it? Quote Link to post
bird 9,969
I thought this dvd got rave reviews a while back on here? Is it the one with merle collie crosses in it? Yes i think thats it, my mate seen it and said it was good. Its all day stuff, where the dogs have to find+ catch, and catching a fox in the day is 100% harder than in the night. They use two dogs, so what, most lamping foxes dvd's ive seen are two dogs. Its in natural form, getin out there and having some sport, and thats what its all about . And if he thinks colliexs are crap for finding+catching, apart from [staghounds ]whats he got any better.???? dont say [kelpie ACD] xs because they no worse or better than good border colliex BIRD Quote Link to post

Guest SJM
Can anyone find the original link to the topic as I cant find it? If I remember rightly the main thing people were saying was that they were impressed with the way the dogs found and hunted out the foxes and the distance they covered etc but not with how long they took to kill them and the fact they were doubled up, I think thats right anyway. I havent seen it but it sounds like it could be worth a watch as anything that involves watching dogs finding and hunting up their own quarry is of interest to me. Has anyone got a good quality copy?
