Guest JohnGalway
Just wondering about this as I've just seen a TV ad over here and I know one of the guys in it, it's pretty hillarious if you were to know the guy talking about skinny lates and doing his pilates... There have been lots of TV ads made where I live, infact my house was used in one of them. Also been a lot of films, like Into The West, The Matchmaker and going back some time The Macintosh Man made here. What's been done in your area and have you or your friends been in anything? SportingShooter 0
Twin Town was made here. Always loads of ads being made here and being Wales' second city, always on the news. Also, the Gower Peninsula is used in films now and again, tourist boards mostly. Regards SS

craftycarper 0
we have a lot of filming outside where i work if that counts. The hustle, robert vaughen was outside having a cuppa...life on mars...whats his name simms i think, was being driven round our building all day, he was in a motor on the back of a trailer with a camera in the front screen pretending to drive, they spent all day doing that just because the glass on our building windows and the reflection it gave, funny thing is if you blinked in the program you missed it, we are in london and the program was set in manchester i think. A scene of the de vinci code was also filmed over the road, and a few years back at our old building they covered the complete road in fake snow for the scene in bridget jones where she runs up and down the road in her draws in front of some shops..also had robert carlyle filming outside as well. Missie 1
A little house on an estate that we hunt round was used as the cottage in Jonathon Creek. If anyone watched Marco Pierre White last night he got his ham from the estate where we have our opening meet. The village I stay in with my sisters godfather in Cornwall was used for a lot of filming, parts of The 3 Musketeers with Chris O'Donnell and Keifer Sutherland was filmed there and lots of old war films. Actually filmed around the area I live I don't know of anything...
