I would say whippet or something with whippet bred in to it for rabbit,,(ie: Bedlington x whippet) Saying that theres a million and one crosses/Pure breeds that can be used for rabbit control although the whippets probably the fastest ;)

a well bred working whippet is a mighty partner , i work mine and i come from a family of lurcher workers , i will never be without a whippet now, what they can do for their size puts many lurchers or working breds to shame !!! i have even now got my totalo showbred working very well both day and now beginning on lamp too , steady reliable willing partners , not the shivery wimps they are said to be , there are breeders along with myself whom are passionate about these pocket rockets!! and are breeding working whippets with working history, keeping true the working bloodlines for future generations

mike brown , jeff at pennymeadow, darren young , nigel wallbank and mark roerts of parkstone all breed working whippets, and are known to me , others im sorry if i have missed you from list !!

I hear mate that first cross beddy greyhound are a good rabbiting dog, putting beddy into grey will drop the size drimatically as well so you wont loose the agility. Although you would belooking to find a racey looking stud beddy. :victory:

Whippets cracking dogs but are they the dog for running rough ground or for running a lot of rabbits a few times a week....I personaly would go for bedlington/grey bit of hight so wont go unsighted and a bit of coat and good feet against injury also can have a run on other gear if the fancy takes you JMHO
