Used for probing the earth to find the tube ,indespensible and used for no other purpose ,regardless what antis no nothings and numpties say.Best approx about 3 1/2 ft with a chisel end and stainless is best.We call them spits

any young lad starting out in terriers will have got his interest through his father uncle or some family member or close friend he will not just wake up and think f**k it i ll buy a terrier and start digging .so he will have a bit of a notion whats going on what the tools are and how there used so i think you ve just made a bit of a dick out of yourself paul the plonker
