out of interest woodga,a farming fiend of mine lost a few lambs.not fox as he keeps them tight. at first he thought badger! but none near his place.

but one morning ,may time 5.30 am he witnessed a otter drag a lamb down river bank .he's a honest man what he says is what he seen

yup they are nothing more than a big weasel and will kill anything , i,ve seen them killing water birds , and they kill pheasants also , they were even taking the rabbits in the snares one morning , near a river .

Fish still going missing and no luck with the traps .But last night we had a big fox in the exact spot of the dead fish .

 

I wonder ????? might go and have a look what he had for supper :sick: !!!

On an island in the middle of one of the ponds , We found a set of holes about 4" wide .

This would be to small for an otter wouldn`t it ?
